Quite easy! Our uplights can be set up in as little 1 minute per light. Our lights ship in hassle-free packaging and easily come out of the box. Connect the power cable, set the color, and position against the wall. If you’d prefer, we’ll set the color for you before your equipment ships. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Our standard rental period is 5 days and begins two days prior your event and extends two days following event. If your end date falls on a non-business day, you’ll have an extra day (the following business day) to ship the lights back to us. 

Double your rental period by selecting the 10 day option on the product page if you’d like more time. Get a quote if your event requries a rental for more than 10 days.

While our outdoor lights can be used indoors, our indoor lights cannot be used outside. Rent outdoor weatherproof lights to use for your event — these can withstand snow, water, or rain. 

We’ll ship your equipment so that it arrives to your door two days prior to your event. If anything goes wrong, we want to make sure there’s enough time to work through issues or send a replacement.

Return your equipment in the same packaging as you received it. To save you hassle, save us money, and save you time — use the same packaging and padding materials that your rental came with. We include extra tape and a return shipping label with every rental. Package up your equipment and drop it off at your nearest UPS shipping location place within two business days after your event.

We include a 5′ power cable with our plug-in uplights. Each rental item includes a list of included items; be sure to check out the product page for exact items. Should you need a longer cable, select that option during booking and we’d be happy to provide a complimentary extension cable for each light.

We test each light prior to shipment, but we know accidents happen.  Contact us immediately if a light doesn’t work and we’ll work with you to find a solution.

Setting the color of your uplights is quite simple!  Refer to our guide here or follow these instructions included with your rental to set the digital display on the back of the lights. 

Bookings may be made up to 8 months in advance through our website.  If you need to secure a booking for a date beyond 8 months in the future, drop us a message in the form to the right and we’d be happy to set up a booking for any date.

We may charge sales tax as required by your jurisdiction. Outside of taxes, you shouldn’t incur additional fees if you take good care of our rental equipment. Some of the things that may incur additional fees include:

  • Late returns
  • Broken Items
  • Missing items
  • Wet items
  • Wrong shipping labels on the box
  • Incorrect or customer-owned packaging materials

Rentals can be cancelled up to two weeks prior to your event for a full* refund.  Contact us and we’ll work with you to cancel your order. Read more about our policy here. Orders may be cancelled in your account: Navigate to “Orders” and select “Cancel” .

*Due to the agreement with our payment processor, we cannot refund our credit card processing fee.  Up to 97.3% of your order total may be refunded.

We can typically add more equipment to your order.  Reply to your order email with any order updates and we’ll be in touch.  

We do accept payment via purchase orders! To place an order, reserve your items through our store, but select “Pay with Purchase Order” during checkout. No funds will be required during checkout, and we’ll draft a PO to the email address listed on the order. We’ll connect with you or your accounting department to receive payment via credit card, check, or bank transfer. 

We rent samples! Renting 1-2 lights is a great way to get your hands on our gear and understand it’s capabilities before your event. Head to any product page and select your desired quantity and dates. Please note that we do not offer complementary samples at this time.

LAST MINUTE SAMPLE?

If you’re looking for an immediate sample, we can often ship in the next 2-3 business days! Reserve your rental for any day in the next month and include your desired timeline in the order comments when placing your order. We’ll update your duration accordingly in your rental confirmation email.
